Klinefelter syndrome is a genetic condition that affects males and is caused by the presence of an extra X chromosome (47,XXY instead of the typical 46,XY). This additional chromosome can lead to symptoms such as reduced testosterone levels, delayed puberty, decreased muscle mass, infertility, and the development of breast tissue. Some individuals may also experience learning difficulties or speech and language delays.
