Yeast Infection

A yeast infection, medically known as vulvovaginal candidiasis, is caused by an overgrowth of Candida fungus, typically Candida albicans. This infection leads to itching, thick white discharge, irritation, and redness of the vaginal area. While commonly triggered by antibiotics, hormonal changes, or high sugar intake, it’s generally easy to treat with antifungal creams or oral medications.
